1) Find out what they want,

This means knowing your customer IN DEPTH. To start, with who is your customer? Define exactly who you want to make sales to, and although obvious its important to be clear that you gotta go for someone who has money. After all, sales are the essence of business, no sales = no business.

Once you have defined who it is that you’re going after (that you’re going to make sales to), then the next question is what will they willingly pay for. This type of market research is often underrated,though to be ignored at your peril.

2) Go and get it,

Now, its time to put together your plan. How are you going to source or produce product at a price at which your customer will buy, and that you will make a sustainable profit?

How will you compete with your competitors (and they do exist - no matter what you may think?)

How will your customers know that you or your product exist? What is your marketing plan?

Do your sums, work it out. What is your break even point? How are you going to finance the business until it starts to turn a profit? How much money do you need? And a host of other questions, but remember this if nothing else - “A bad plan is better than no plan,” or as Roy Keane put it - “Failure to plan, is planning to fail.”

3) Give it to them,

Arguably, the single most important piece of the jigsaw is getting it done. Also known as execution,

doing what you need to do.

There are lots of people with great ideas and the intelligence to formulate impressive plans, but are

they getting it done? Its never those who know the most who become the most successful, but rather

those with the singular ability to consistently take action, and accomplish the task in hand that

repeatedly and assuredly rise to the top, each and every time.

“Willing is not enough, we must do!

Knowing is not enough, we must apply!”

Remember that ads should only go on content rich pages

 The Google Adsense program can be an extremely powerful way to make money online. If you own a website that receives good levels of traffic then you have a good opportunity to make money with adsense. The first step is to apply for the adsense program and the website you use to apply is important. Make sure that your site looks professional and complete. It is very easy to setup, just click on the ‘add channels’ link and then click ‘custom channels’ and then add in the url of the site you want to track. Also be sure to add the ads towards the middle of your pages if possible. This is the part of the page that most people focus on so putting ads there will get them noticed much more.

Your ads must blend into your site as much as possible. Removing borders from the ads is a good way to get people to notice the ads more since the borders tend to cause people to ignore the ads since they subconsciously associate the borders with advertising. Also if the links on your site are red then make sure the links in the ads are also red. Also if you can, try to get the size of the text in your ads to be the same as those of your site.

Make sure to add at least one ad unit at the bottom of the page, this will give your visitors somewhere to go once they have finished reading the content on that page. A 468 x 15 link unit at the bottom of the page can also work well as it will look like a natural part of the navigation on your site. Also a 468×15 link unit at the top of the page can also be effective as long as it fits in well with the navigation.

Also use html tables to add some ad units directly into article content by having the content wrap around the ads. A good way to do this is to add a 336×280 or 250×250 ad unit depending on the width of your text under the main title and then you can add maybe one more under another sub header. Remember to never squeeze your content otherwise you will lose visitors since they cannot read your articles easily. Do not diminish the user experience to try to increase your click through rates.

Most visitors expect some ads on a site so add them in as discreetly and naturally as possible. Also make sure that the niche you are in has many adwords advertisers because this will ensure more relevant ads and also a better pay per click since the average bid will be higher. Saving Google Adsense Account from Click Fraud

 If you trawl through the AdSense message boards you cant help but come across tales of woe from AdSense publishers that have had their account banned by Google.

Below is a list of ways people have been banned from AdSense and information on how to avoid it happening to you.

Dont click on your own ads

The obvious one but still people do it. For more results go to www.adsense-income-exposed.com. Google has the IP address of the computer/s that youve used to create and check your AdSense account. If it sees that this IP address clicks one of your ads you are in trouble.

Dont do it. Its theft. Not from Google but from the AdWords advertisers.

If you want to go to a site advertised by one of your ads dont click on it look at the URL of the advertising site at the bottom of the ad and type it into your browser.

If you click on one accidentally (which does happen) youre probably be ok but its worth dropping a quick email to Google with an explanation and apology

Dont log in to AdSense from a shared computer.

As I said above Google keeps a record of every machine IP address used to look at your account. If you check your stats on a machine then someone else clicks on your ads from the same machine Google sees this as click fraud. Worth bearing in mind when thinking of checking your stats from somewhere like an Internet Caf.

Dont log in to your AdSense account from work.

Apart from getting in trouble with the company that employs you there is also a further real risk. Most companies use a proxy server to access the Internet. A proxy server with ONE IP ADDRESS. Therefore you checking your ads from work means this proxy IP address being recorded by Google as one that you use. Problem is if there are 1000 people in your company it is the same IP address for them too. Google cant differentiate between you and the other 999 employees in your company. If one of these 999 clicks on one of your ads its ban time.

Dont get into click your ads if you click mine agreement with another Webmaster.

As above Google will have your IP address and that of every AdSense publisher. If they see these IP addresses consistently clicking on each other ads its goodbye for both of you.

Dont tell friends and family.

Telling friends and family about your money making websites can lead to problems. Even if you tell them not to click on your ads there is always the chance that Auntie Maud will think it is a good idea to make some extra money for her favorite nephew. Google has cracked down on junk Adsense sites, like they should.

 Recent changes in the Google Adsense program has many online website owners and marketers seriously concerned. Many have seen their Adsense profits and income flatline… seen their four or five figure monthly Adsense income disappear overnight. For many the Google Adsense bubble has burst.

What happened?

(Paid internet jobs) How to Use AB Testing To Transform Your Wimpy Sales Page Into A Profit Monster

 If you have been in the internet marketing business for any length of time you should understand that your sales pages must have a high conversion rate for success. Your sales page must entice the reader to open up their wallet and get out their credit card.

There are many successful sales pages but most likely they did not start out that way. A truly successful sales page should always be a work in progress. What worked wonderfully a few weeks ago may not be converting at a rate that is satisfactory now.

To super charge your sales pages you should be AB testing them. AB testing, also known as split testing is a process whereby you create multiple sales pages for the same product or service and track which of the pages has the higher conversion rate.

In order to be a successful internet professional you must convert visitors to customers. The internet is very impersonal in that you do not meet a prospective customer face to face or even have a conversation with them on the phone. All you have is your sales page to persuade a potential customer to buy. AB testing can be the difference between a sales page that converts one or two sales per week and one that converts 10, 20, 50 or more sales per day.

Here is an example of how I AB test my sales pages:

1.) Creation

I begin with a new sales page that I have created and then create two alternate pages. On these alternate pages I change a single attribute. On the first I may change the headline and on the second I reword the first paragraph.

2.) Traffic

Once the pages are ready I start sending equal amounts of traffic to each page. In most cases I run the test for 7 days.

3.) And the Winner Is

The page that had the best conversion rate was the one on which I changed the headline. This is the one that I will keep. The other two I keep in a folder on my computer so that I can review them occasionally.

4.) Repeat

This time I start with the page that had the best conversion rate in my previous AB test. Again I write 2 new pages and change a single attribute. This time I will not change the headline because it was the winner in the last text. Then I run my process again.

The key to developing an exceptionally powerful sales page is constant testing. When I have tested all elements of the page I begin the process again. This constant cycle of testing will increase both sales and profitability.

If you are not AB testing then you basically saying “I don’t care about how many sales I make.” If you are saying something similar to that statement, you do not belong in the internet marketing business. Now that you understand the process you can start testing and start creating a profit pulling monster where you wimpy sales page used to be.

Affiliate marketing is another great way to earn money on your home computer. You simply sign up with a company as an affiliate. You then market their product or website. It is that simple. Any sales that your promotion and marketing generates earns you a commission. Some people do nothing but affiliate marketing and earn a very nice income. When you sign up, the company gives you a special link. You promote that link through article marketing, offering e-courses, newsletters and other promotional items. Some companies give incentives just for generating clicks to their site so you may earn income from that. Other companies offer commission on sales that you make through your own marketing efforts.
